As part of Green Building Week, the global week dedicated to green building to spread the word of sustainability organized by the Green Building Council, Diasen organized the Green Building School Day on 20 September at the new Green Future Academy.
The “real fight” against climate change starts first of all from the “real awareness”. And it is only through the transmission of ‘applied green knowledge’ that this awareness can be acquired. Making a house “green” doesn’t only mean knowing how to carefully choose the right eco-compatible materials to be applied, it means wanting to concretely contribute to the safeguard of the planet, improving man’s living environment, ensuring healthiness and well-being for the future.
For Diasen, a leading company in the green building sector, educating the younger generations to respect the environment is not just a simple goal, but a real cultural mission. For this reason, the Green Building School Day will be only the first of a series of events dedicated to the school and academic world, with the intent to train and involve students and researchers on the true essence of the environmental “word of sustainability”.
The new eco-sustainable future academy, the Diasen Green Future Academy, on 20 September opened its doors to the students attending the third classes of the Liceo Scientifico “Vito Volterra” in Fabriano. A real “dive” into sustainability … in all its facets! During the day, the students were involved in real application tests of eco-friendly products based on cork and natural raw materials, a symbol of high quality, innovation and low environmental impact. In addition to touch the experience and the ecological excellence of Diasen, the students have been able to “live” closely, through videos and images, the “story” of the company’s history, as well as discover all the innovations made over the years in the green building sector.
In particular, they focused on the meaning of Green Different Smart, the three pillars of Diasen strategy, perfect synthesis of technological innovation, nature and high quality and on the meaning of “Mediterranean building”, aimed at safeguarding human living wellbeing, respecting thermal balances and harmony with the environment.
“The future of young people is still to be written,” emphasises Diego Mingarelli, CEO of Diasen, “which is why we believe it is essential to convey to them the true meaning of ‘sustainable thinking’. And we do this by simply sharing our daily experience, our sense of doing business, the challenges we have faced and our values. Sustainability is not only a feature linked to a specific product – belonging to the building sector or not – but it is first of all a matter of conscience, awareness, lifestyle. “This is why Diasen intends to continue to believe and invest in this cultural and educational mission”.
