Diasen included in the 100 Italian stories of the building of the future
The report realized by Symbola Foundation in collaboration with Triennale di Milano and experts of the sector is a real “tale” of one hundred realities of the building industry that, through innovation, continue to courageously challenge the future.
Diasen, with its ecological solutions dedicated to thermal insulation and waterproofing, has been selected as an Italian excellence representing an Italy able to keep up with innovation, skillfully combining know-how with beauty – also synonymous with solidity and usefulness – sustainability and quality.
Improving materials and performance is essential for optimising interventions, as is training operators in green building issues. In fact, in the future, rather than consuming energy, buildings will produce it, becoming active and self-sufficient. Between 2014 and 2017, more than 34,000 companies in the construction sector invested in green products and technologies, 20.8% of the total number of companies. Italy is the only one, among the European bigwigs, to have increased between 2012 and 2016 the number of applications for the EU label in the “construction materials” sector with +7.3%; against -13.4% in Germany and -37.7% in France.
“These 100 experiences tell us today about the building industry of the future,” said Ermete Realacci, president of Symbola – the Foundation for Italian Quality – “a journey through a composite supply chain that often draws inspiration from tradition to innovate, crossing the knowledge of the workers with Industry 4.0. This all-Italian capacity brings together skills, training, community, energy and technology to contribute to the competitiveness of a country that is at the forefront, despite the various problems and delays that it is experiencing. An Italy that makes Italy, for a new economy that is more innovative, sustainable, supportive and cohesive.”
