Self-gripping and self-sealing bentonite waterproofing sheet, creates a geocomposite barrier for the pre-designed waterproofing of foundations and underground rooms and for applications below the groundwater level.
Self-expanding bentonite geocomposite sheet, characterized by a high swelling capacity, suitable for waterproofing vertical or horizontal underground concrete structures, foundation slabs on formwork, pile walls, elevator shaft, box, silos, underpasses. It can be used for waterproofing the indoor walls of tanks for water storage, fire prevention and rain. Also suitable for the construction and waterproofing of artificial reservoirs.
The geocomposite is made of a self-clinching nonwoven fabric sheet saturated with bentonite, perfectly sewn to the polypropylene base sheet. This permanently traps the bentonite in and avoid any chance of slipping or accumulation due to cuts, tears, vertical applications or simple handling.
