This system provides for the rehabilitation and restoration of damaged concrete due to the oxidation of the reinforcing rods. The system uses Rebuild 40 R4, a two-component mortar to be applied on the exposed and oxidized reinforcement iron. Rebuild 40 R4 is able to permanently encapsulate the ferrous surface of the armature, effectively preventing contact with oxygen, responsible for triggering the oxidation process.

After encapsulating the reinforcement iron, the system uses Rebuild CLS two-component repair mortar. This mortar, characterized by high mechanical and physical resistance, is applied to completely fill the treated portion, and in this way it is possible to restore the continuity of the surface of the reinforced concrete.
