This system involves the use of the Safety Joint Top elastic sealant band and the bituminous waterproofing paste Ultrabit for under-tile waterproofing of small balconies and terraces.

Ultrabit, thanks to the special polystyrene microspheres present inside, allows waterproofing in a single coat applied with a smooth american trowel, creating a thickness sufficient to cover and seal any imperfections or irregularities of the underlying cement substrate.

The Safety Joint Top elastic sealing band is instead used to waterproof the vertical / horizontal connection.
Once fully cured, the traditional outdoor tile can be applied by using a water-based glue.
