In the very central Calle de Atocha, close to Madrid’s train station of the same name, a building has been renovated and converted into a prestigious luxury hotel, just a few steps away from the central square of the Spanish capital, the Puerta del Sol.

The building, which is under the control of the Heritage Superintendence, was realised by applying Diathonite Thermactive.037 insulating biomalta and Argacem Colored skim coat, both on the main façade and on the internal patio, to give the surface a fine and colourful appearance, typical of Mediterranean construction.
