The building is a classic example of a 17th century hilltop villa. The location along the alley of San Barnaba attests to the constructive value of the ancient monastic settlements. The walls are made of stone and brick, the floors are made of wood, the ceilings are made of reeds and the pitched roof. During the mid-19th century, on the occasion of the construction of the ring road around the mountain, the building underwent changes that led to the adaptation to the bourgeois taste with the inclusion of neo-Gothic decorations and multiple profiling. The current restoration phase has taken this last documented aspect into account. A building that has been able to overcome the passing of centuries contains many stories and many details towards which the Superintendency always shows a keen eye. Diathonite Thermactive.037 with its ductility in the application both inside and outside allows to respect the canons and traditions of an ancient building, its nature and composition is instead able to allow to the buildings to write many more pages of their history.
