Suyu-dong House is a multi-family house where the client, his son, daughter, and grandchildren live together. The client got the old house where his family had lived together demolished and he wanted to build a new house in order to live with his family together again.

The technical pillars of intervention
This house was designed by the project studio NOVA who took in consideration the pine tree which remembers the history of the house. You can feel more openness on the family room of the 2nd floor than the living room of 1st floor, and the family room has become the second living room where all of the members get together. Also, the den next to the stair is a place where children can read books anytime.
We needed a finishing material with warming the house, excellent aesthetics. So, Suyu-dong House was finished cork based coating with high insulation effect of Diasen Decork Alfareflex. The work was completed in 2018.
