Architecture as a social vision
These buildings of the second half of the nineteenth century were the result of a vision of the famous industrial dynasty of Crespi family who settled their production of paper and fabrics between Crespi d’Adda and Vaprio d’Adda, to the result of the great abundance of water required and made available by the natural course of the great Lombard and Manzoni tributary of the Po. of peaceful harmony between entrepreneur and workers. The workers’ village of Crespi d’Adda is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as a splendid example of industrial archeology
The technical pillars of the intervention
Diasen intervened in the restructuring of two of the three suggestive residenze Crespi thermally insulating internal walls and ceilings thanks to the application of 4 cm of Diathonite Thermactive .
Thermal conductivity
λ = 0,037 W/mK
Thanks to the right mix of carefully selected natural raw materials, the product achieves very high thermal insulation performance.
Breathability
μ = 3
Walls free to breathe. Thanks to the high permeability, the humidity of the interior is perfectly balanced, thus avoiding the formation of mold and condensation.
Density
ρ = 250 ± 15% kg/m3
Macroporous structure with high air content guarantee excellent performance in terms of insulation and absorption of excess moisture.
The sign of thermal comfort
The Director of Works Leonardo Gornati states that “the insulation systems work perfectly and that entering without heating at full capacity they found a perfect humidity situation with the temperature at 20°C. “
